Day 1 : Srinagar ARRIVAL & LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Our Kashmir tour package starts once you reach Srinagar airport. On arrival, meet and greet Odyssey outfitters Tour and Travels representative and get an assisted transfer to the hotel. The rest of the time is free at leisure. Srinagar is a major city in India. Then Proceed on a city tour visiting the Shankaracharya temple situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, the famous Mughal Gardens – Cheshmashahi, Nishat & Shalimar, Hazratbal Shrine. These gardens were Mughal Emperors’ concept of Paradise and today these are popular picnic spots. Also visit a handicraft shop where you can purchase local Handcrafted items Shawls, Jackets, Bed Covers, Paper Mache, Carpets & much more! In the evening leisurely stroll long side Dal Lake exploring the local markets. In the evening Go for a Shikara ride at Nehru Park. Once done, get back to the houseboat. Day 2 : SONMARG
Sonmarg, Also called as Sonamarg is a Hill Station in Ganderbal District of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Sonamarg as in word is a combination of two words “Sona” which mean gold and “marg” which means path. Thats also why Sonmarg also called as Meadow of Gold. This is because of the fact that when the peaks of mountains which are surrounded to Sonmarg appears to be golden when the sun rays during sunset hits them, which intern looks very beautiful, hence makes it a Meadow of Gold.
Day 3 : Doodhpathri
Day Excursion After breakfast, get transfer to Doodhpathri which is the most beautiful tourist destination and a hill station. On the way you stop at many beautiful spots. Continue to drive to Doodhpathri 2690 Mtrs (Valley of Milk). One can ride on horse to visit River shali ganga and can also go by cab .Glacier: An exciting location for trek lovers, Thajwas Glacier situated just 3km away from Doodhpathri is one of the most thrilling and striking experiences one can witness. The crown of Jammu and Kashmir, the water fall point is the main attraction in the region. .After enjoying at get assisted transfer to Srinagar. Day 4 : YUSMARG
Yusmarg is a small meadow set in the heart of mountains to the south-west of Srinagar. It is an ideal picnic spot and the Nilnag Lake can be visited from here. A two hour drive from Srinagar (47 kms ) will take you to acres upon acres of grassy meadow ringed by forests of pine, and towering beyond them, awesome and majestic snow clad mountains. Later return to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar Hotel.
Day 5 : Gulmarg
After breakfast head towards Gulmarg (8700 fti.e 2652 mts), known as ‘Meadow of flowers. Go for the famous Gondola Ride (Cable Car. Online booking in advance is recommended), Asia’s highest and longest cab car. It’s a two-stage rope-way. The first stage transfers from Gulmarg to Kungdoor Station. The second stage takes skiers to a height of 3,747 m (12,293 ft). The timing of the gondolais 10 AM to 5 PM (It’s highly dependent upon the weather at both stages and Gulmarg Sightseeing tour (Self Expenses) where you go places like Maharaja Palace, Rani Temple, St. Mary Church, Buta Pathri etc. After fully enjoying get assisted transfer to Srinagar. Day 6 : Pahalgam
On the 6th day of your Kashmir tour, check out early. proceed to Pahalgam (2133 mts) also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds or Trekker’s Paradise. Pahalgam is the most famous place in the Indian Film Industry. On the way visit Awantipura ruins, Saffron fields One of the most beautiful places on earth, the town of Paentry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus and head towards Pahalgam local sightseeing tour Visit Pahalgam Sight pahalgam offers breath taking views. One can just enjoy the town of Pahalgam and trek to some of the most beautiful places on earth. One can trek to Lidderwat, Kolahoi Glacier or to Sonmarg. As well as a Horseriding trip to Baisaran. Day 7 : FULL DAY PAHALGAM(EVENING BCK TO SGR)
Aru Valley: Arius located around 12 from Pahalgam, 11 km up stream from the Lidder River. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, itis a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies of the left bank of the Aru River, which is a tributary of the Lidder river.
Betaab Valley: Is a very famous tourist spot situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam. Betab valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The Valley is towards northeast of Pahalgam and falls between Pahalgam and Chandanwari and is en route Amarnath Yatra. The valley surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains. then you will be back to Srinagar . Dinner and Overnight Stay at Petal of chinar
Day 8 : SRINAGAR TO GUREZ
The road from Srinagar to Dawar is a mix of good, bad, and average. It is good for the most part of it and the bad stretch is only for a few kilometers between Razdan Pass and Dawar.
But when you drive towards Chakwali, there is absolutely no Tarr on the road. The last time I was there, there was no roadwork happening so it is safe to assume that it will stay that way in the coming years as well.
The majority of the tourists will only go as far as Dawar and return from there. Why? Because that is where all the tourist attractions are. Places like Habba Khatoon peak and waterfall, Khandiyal top, Chorwan village, Kishanganga river, and dam lake – it is all located in and around Dawar.
Day 9 : GUREZ SIGHTSEEING
Today you will be visiting the nearby town, Dawar. The local people of Dawar are known as “Dards”. They live in beautiful log wood houses. You can communicate with them and observe their local lives. You can also visit the archaeological sites of the town.
You will also be visiting one of the beautiful pyramid-shaped mountain peaks, Habba Khatoon peak. This peak is named after famous Kashmiri poetess Habba Khatoon. The majestic spring flowing from the peak will catch your attention. The water of the spring is crystal clear and has many medicinal properties. Do not forget to click pictures of the lucid water gushing out of the picturesque spring.
In the evening head back to the hotel. Take your dinner and have a good sleep.
Day 10 : GUREZ TO SRINAGAR
Begin this day of your majestic Gurez valley package with breakfast and get ready for a drive towards Srinagar. On your way, visit the Izamrg village and capture the splendid green meadows on your camera. You can also choose to take a walk around the village to explore its charm. On arrival in Srinagar, check into the hotel, take your dinner and head for an overnight stay.
Day 11 : DEPARTURE
This brings you to the end of your Srinagar Tour package. After your breakfast at the hotel our representative will accompany you to the Srinagar airport for your journey back home.
